Order Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Processing times may vary based on product availability and the fulfillment location handling your order. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates
Standard Shipping — Free
Standard shipping is free for most addresses within Canada.
Remote, Northern & Special Regions
Some regions of Canada require carriers to apply surcharges due to limited access, extended distance, or specialized handling. These may include:
- Northern Territories
- Remote or isolated communities
- Certain rural postal codes
- Island or ferry-access locations
For these areas, additional shipping fees will automatically apply at checkout when applicable. These fees are not refundable, as they reflect carrier surcharges required to deliver to those regions.
Customers are responsible for reviewing any shipping charges shown at checkout before completing their purchase.
Shipping Times
Estimated delivery windows:
- Canada (most regions): 8–12 business days
- Remote or rural areas: May require additional transit time
- Multiple items: May arrive in separate packages from different fulfillment locations
Transit times may vary due to weather, customs processing, high-volume seasons, carrier delays, labour disruptions, or other factors outside our control.
Multiple Shipments
Your order may arrive in separate packages if items are fulfilled from different distribution centers. Tracking numbers will be provided whenever available.
Minimal Packaging
Some items may arrive in reduced or simplified packaging to minimize waste and reduce shipping costs. This does not affect product quality. The package will have the return address of the supplier or distributor.
Tracking Information
Tracking numbers are provided when available. Some low-cost carriers may provide limited tracking after the package enters Canada.
Shipping Delays
Delivery delays may occur due to:
- Weather or natural events
- High-volume postal periods
- Customs inspections
- Carrier labour disruptions
- Delivery to rural or remote regions
Once shipped, delivery speed is determined by the carrier.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your order appears significantly delayed or lost, email us at contact@hamiltonhobbyelectronics.ca with your order number.
We will contact the carrier or applicable fulfillment partner to investigate. Depending on the outcome, a replacement or refund may be issued. Claims must be made within 60 days of the shipping date.
Damaged Items in Transit
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the item, packaging, and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.
