Prototype Screw Terminal Block Shield Kit for Arduino Mega 2560 R3

This professional-grade prototyping shield is designed specifically for the Arduino Mega 2560 R3. It combines a large prototyping area with secure screw terminal blocks, allowing you to move your project from a fragile breadboard to a robust, permanent installation. The kit features high-quality FR-4 fiberglass and "stackable" headers, meaning you can still plug additional shields on top of this board. This is an unassembled kit; soldering is required.

Product Features

  • Complete Terminal Access: Breaks out all 84 pins of the Arduino Mega to secure screw terminals for vibration-resistant wiring.
  • Large Prototyping Area: Features a standard 2.54mm pitch grid for soldering custom sensors, ICs, and discrete components directly to the shield.
  • Stackable Design: Includes long-pin female headers that pass through the PCB, allowing you to stack other Mega-compatible shields on top.
  • High-Quality Construction: Dual copper layer FR-4 PCB with tinned pads for easy soldering and excellent conductivity.
  • Flexible Mounting: Multiple mounting holes and terminal configurations allow for various installation methods in enclosures or control panels.

Assembly Guide

Component Installation Note
Female Headers Solder these first. Ensure they are perfectly vertical so the shield aligns with the Arduino Mega pins.
Terminal Blocks Group the 2-pole and 3-pole blocks to fill the outer perimeters. Ensure the wire entry holes face outward.
Prototyping Area Use this space for permanent components like voltage regulators, level shifters, or pull-up resistors.
